Trust: based on experiences from the past and is related most closely to our intellectual being

Hope: based on desire for something in the future and is related most closely to our emotional being

A

To say god is creator is to say god is responsible for everything around us. This does not challenge science as science asks the question of how things came to be but faith and religion ask the question of why. God is the one that brought us into the world INTENTIONALLY

A

A numerical sequence that is constantly found throughout nature so much it’s uncanny. Some call the Fibonacci series as the fingerprint of god and is shown as a mark of gods proud creation, a signature for example.

There is no conflict between the two unless on is to look at the creation accounts in genesis as a scientific test. Other than that sciences asks how and faith asks why.

Explain the 1 Genesis creation account

A

It emphasizes order and intention. We are here on purpose by gods god is beyond nature and declares the nature of creation is good. And that the world came together orderly and intentional and god liked all his creations. It’s a direct comparison to the other violent creation stories in the Middle East

A

It emphasizes relationship with humans and god himself. Humans have purpose in this passage given by god. And everything is meant to be.

A

Sin which is an attitude of self centeredness and selfishness in the creation accounts it was Adam and Eve who first sinned. It leads to broken relationships with others and ultimately god.

A

This is the fall and start of sin. Has human self centerdness shown through eve being tempted by the snake and showing disobedience to god and aswell as Adam. Includes blaming others to try and save your self rather than taking responsibility.

A

The god Marduk kills a goddess and forms heaven and earth from her body. Than he kills on of her sons and created humans to be slaves for the gods so the gods could live leisurely.
