A
Forms when magma or larva cools and hardens
Can form deep inside the earth or on earth’s surface
You get large crystals when igneous rock forms below earth’s surface and small crystals when it forms on earths surface

Forms from sediment that gets cemented together under pressure
Can contain fossils

A
Rocks that form when earth processes such as high temperature and high pressure change the texture and mineral content of rock

The continuous process of rock changing from one type to another
