What were the causes of the civil war?

A
  1. Sectionalism
    -Both regions were entirely different, from economy, environment, to political standpoints. These difference led to much tension and disagreements.
  2. Slavery
    -This was the main debate in the civil war. The South depended and wanted to keep slavery while the North was reliant on manufacturing and wanted to get rid of it.
