Percent equations
Part = Percent x Whole An equation that is used to find either the part, percent, or whole PERCENTS MUST BE IN DECIMAL FORM! EX. 50 = .25(200) 25 = a(100)

A part of a whole, usually based on 100

Percent Proportion
A proportion using the part, whole, percent, and 100 (percents are out of 100)
Percent of Change
The percent that a number or value changes over time
(new-old/old)
EX.
from 75 to 100 = 34% change

Interest

Simple Interest

interest that is paid on initial principle and on previous interest
