Method of lean production:

A

Simultaneous engineering = develop new products by ensuring that essential design, market research costings and engineering tasks are done at the same time as each other. Allows new products to be offered quicker
Flexibility specialisms = allows bus. to switch designs when consumer trends or technology advances renders their current product.
