Has a miraculous birth. After his mother (Hannah) can’t have children, she prays to God and ask for a son, and if she does have a son she promises that his life will be devoted to God. When he then turns in to a young man he become one of the greatest prophets.

A high priest who guides Samuel into Samuels role as a prophet.
Eli
First king of Israel. Was a farmworker searching for his fathers donkey, when he met Samuel. Samuel then anoints him king. He as a very shy person. He then let the power get to his head and turned in to a bad king, he had to be removed as king.
Saul
Samuel then begins to search for a new king. He goes to Bethlehem and meets Jessie’s sons. Samuel picks the youngest son. This son is the one who defeated the great Goliath.
David.
Jesus birth in Bethlehem. He was a very important person to Jesus during his life. He was there for fatherly guid.

Saul’s son. David an ________ are friends. As as saul’s kingship is coming to an end he wants to kill David. Each time _______ is there for him. Supports him as the next king.
