What is a field?
A field is a space in a database used to store data. It is a column in a spreadsheet.
What is a Record?
A record is a set of information about a specific person or thing. It is a row in a spreadsheet.
What is a hypothesis?
A hypothesis is a set of statements that can be proved true or false based on evidence
Can you give another definition of data?
Data is a collection of anything that is unprocessed. Anything may refer to figures, numbers or strings.
What is dirty data?
Dirty data is data which is totally wrong or misleading.
Example – entering string or blank data when asked to write/enter numeric data. One has to be careful and read the question properly.
What are questionnaires used for?
They are used to
Get data on a certain topic
Check the level of a person
Collect data of other people in different ways (includes personal data)
Which order is data arranged in?
Data is arranged in logical order.
