It affects it by increasing your muscle strength.
What are examples of large and small muscles?
Hamstrings, quadriceps, back, and chest for large.
Shoulders, triceps, biceps and calves for smaller muscles .

Some myths are women who lift weights will deveolp bulky muscles, and Females muscles will not develop increased strength ,
Circuit training, super sets, compound sets are .
Circuit training is a combination of six or more exercises performed with short rest periods between them for either a set number of repetitions or a prescribed amount of time.
A Super set is doing two exercises back to back for opposing muscle groups without rest .
A Compound set is doing two exercises back to back for the same muscle group without rest.
