The religion of Islam - because it appealed to every day people; it helped those who were not part of the wealthy. It forbid Muslims from being sold as slaves. Restricted the power of rulers over people. Promoted education and learning. Forbids drinking alcohol.

It caused an increase in access to education among the population and in many regions the ruling powers were restricted by Islamic law.

Yes bc the kings was in debt due to the war so he raised taxes on the colonies.

A new nation was born, but not everyone was equal (slavery, women couldn’t vote.)
How did the French revolution transform France?
The killed their kind and queen. A new government was formed. Peasants could now own land, slavery was abolished. Napoleon rose to power shortly afterward in 1799.
Why was the Haitian Revolution the most radical?
The revolution fought for peoples independence, human rights, and racial equality.
