- we all have the right to run away to a country to be safe
- we all have the right to believe in whatever we like, to have a religion, and to change it if we wish.
- every grown-up has the right to a job, to a fair wage in their work, and the right to join a trade union
- everyone has the right to own things
Amnesty International

- They work worldwide to protect and fight for men, women, and children whose basic human rights are denied.
- They use non-violent methods to raise awareness ie writing letters, creating posters, peaceful protests
- In 1977 Amnesty International was awarded a Nobel Peace Prize
Social Justice
- human rights is the basic needs of all human beings
- therefore social justice is the way we promote these human rights within society
-An example of social justice IS the protests for climate change awareness.
