Israelis started war because Arab failed to recognize Israel as a state, they captured many regions that are now Israel (Gaza Strip, the Golan Heights, the Sinai Peninsula, the West Bank, and East Jerusalem. Arabs are embarrassed by loos and reinforced the belief that the US was helping Israelis.

Czechoslovakia under Alexander Dubcek sought a less repressive government and allowed for political parties. Leonid Brezhnev ordered a military intervention
