Note: lavarse is used instead of lavar, because lavar is a transitive verb, and lavarse is reflexive. Transitive verbs are used when a subject performing the action is different than the recipient, and reflexive verbs are when the actor and recipient are the same entity/entities
I always wash my hands before eating. I don’t like eating with dirty hands!
