Unit 3 Science Flashcards

1
Q

What is the difference between reproducibility and repeatability?

A

Repeatability is the likelihood of producing the same result, from the same experiment and setup, it allows researchers to verify that their results are true.

Reproducibility is the likelihood of producing the same results however, with a different research team and usually following the method of the originator.
