  • Peace and security.
  • Violent conflicts.
  • Investigate a dispute. Making agreements, how to solve problems-
  • Regulate disarmament, and recommend actions
  • Act of war and real threat or no. The security council will need to recognize that there is a real threat.
  • Sanctions etc. Not involve the use of force. Take actions.
  • Military action as well, say that it is okay that other countries can attack others
  • Recommend new members of the UN
  • Trusteeship functions.
