Physical health
Relates to the efficient functioning of the body and it systems and includes the physical capacity to perform tasks and physical fitness
Mental health
A state of wellbeing in which the individual realizes he’s Or her own abilities, can cope with normal stresses of life, can work productively and fruitfully, and is able to make a contribution to his or her community
Social health
Being able to interact with others and participate in the community and both an independent and cooperative way
Health status
An individuals or population overall health, taking into account various aspects such as life expectancy, amount of disability and levels of disease risk factors
Life expectancy
An indicator of how long a person can expect to live, it is the number is remaining to a person at a particular age of death rates
Health adjusted life expectancy
based on the life expectancy at birth, but including an adjustment for the time spent in poor health.
Burden of disease
A measure of the impact of diseases and injuries. specifically it measures the gap between current health status an ideal situation where everyone lives to an old age free of disability than the disease is measured by the unit DALY
Disability Adjusted Life Years
A measure of betting the disease, one DALY Equals one year of healthy life lost due to premature death and time lived with illness, disease or injury

Years of life lost are years lost due to premature mortality. Years of life lost is calculated by subtracting the age at death from the longest possible Life expectancy for a person at that age

The number of deaths over a period of time
