- health promoting behaviours are enhanced with literacy

- Women often don’t have access to employment
- increases the level of human development experienced by women and allows to better care for their families
Clean water and sanitation
- lack of water is responsible for many deaths each year
- hundreds of millions of people lack access to clean water
Decent work and economic growth
– People can earn an income and provide basic resources and Boost their countries economy
- many children are forced to work in industries that do not protect the health and wellbeing
- millions of girls are trafficked for their labour
Peace, justice and strong institutions
– 4 billion people live outside the protection of Law
- human rights often abused for these people
- many people die as a result of terrorism and violence
Human Development
creating a supportive environment in which a person can develop to their full potential and lead productive, creative lives in accordance with their needs and interests. It is about expanding people’s choices and enhancing capabilities, having access to knowledge, health and a decent standard of living, and participating in the life of their community and decisions affecting their lives.

Mental health
a state of well-being in which the individual realizes his or her own abilities, can cope with the normal stresses of life, can work productively and fruitfully, and is able to make a contribution to his or her community.
physical health
relates to the efficient function of the body and its systems, and includes the physical capacity to perform tasks and physical fitness
social health
being able to interact with others and participate in the community in both an independent and cooperative way
sanitation
To ensure access to safe water sources and sanitation for all. Reduce communicable diseases, reduce water pollution, and have access to water for the removal of waste.
