Proclamation Line of 1763

A

British kick the French out. Fighting began to rise against British colonies and Iroquois Native Americans.

leads to the king of England to set up a proclomation line… which temporarily set a wester boundary for the 13 colonies*

A

A book written by Thomas Payne. He argues that Parliament being corrupt and having a monarchy is stupid.

-120,000 copies were sold in 3 months
-Everyone was talking about it…which lead to the “Second Continential Congress”… DOI & Military starting to be built up.

A

Homemade cloth. A very common item boycotted was British clothing. Women learned how to make there own cloth, spinning thread. As the cloth wasnt the best but was shown as proof of the revolution.

From Massachutes was born in 1760-1827. Her father was lost at sea, so the mother had been struggling. In 1782, she disguised herself as a man and joine the continental army.

> She fought directly in most battles. Discovered because of sickness and the doctor discovered her.

> 1797 had written a book about it. The first American women that goes on a lecture (aka. book tour) recieves the veterans pention.

A sailor of mixxed African & Indigenous ancestry, died in the Boston on March 5, 1770 after British soldiers fired 2 muskets balls into his chest. His death instantly transformed Attucks from anonymous sailor into martyr for burgeoning revolutionary cause.
