A treaty that allowed Americans to use the port of New Orleans without paying taxes to Spain (who controlled it at the time) and gave them navigation rights on the Mississippi River

Judiciary Act of 1801
Act that reduced the number of seats in the Supreme Court and created 16 new positions (filled in by Adams’ Midnight Appointments)
“Continental System” / British Orders in Council
Napoleon’s attempt during the Napoleonic Wars to damage the British economy by blockading Britain (so that neutral countries and allies couldn’t provide resources). Britain responded with the Orders in Council that subjected France and its allies to a counter-blockade.
