Concordat of 1801
The signing of Concordat limited the power of the church, though it did state its importance (just to make it feel less provoked).

The law that Napoleon set for everyone in France to follow.
Plebiscite
A “vote of the people”
Even though Napoleon didn’t really get voted in as consul, he set up a plebiscite so it looked as though he was an elected official and the new constitution was approved by the people of France.

Napoleon’s attempt to blockade GB’s trade. It later backfired, because the B, who possessed stronger naval force that was actually able to block trade, created real blockades

Anger the Spanish by placing Napoleon’s relative as the ruler. N did this to encourage the Spanish to fight? and make Portugal follow the continental system
Invasion os Russia
The russian’s scorch-earth policy left no resources for the French soldiers. Although the French did go quite far, reaching the capital of Russia (which on arrival had been burned to the ground and evacuated). They did not maintain their strength as winter time approached, and lost most of their men, striking a blow to the french army
Scorched Earth Policy
Involved burning grain fields and slaughtering livestock so as to leave nothing for the enemy to eat
Battle of Waterloo
During the 100 days, the allies were mad that Napoleon became emperor again. They marched their armies and prepared for battle in Waterloo, which is in Belgium. They defeated Napoleon once again and he was sent into a stricter exile
