A polish-born intelectual who studied in Italy. Known for his publication “On the Revolution of the Heavenly Spheres” which theorized the orbiting of the sun we know today. Lead to him being rejected by most scholars

Late 1500s, Danish astronomer Tycho Brahe set up an astronomical observatory (Prague). Accumulated years of raw data about the movement of stars and planets
