2
Q

Explain the relationship between stator water, generator inlet temperature and cold gas temperature.

A

We maintain stator water 3-5*warmer than generator hydrogen cold gas temperature, to keep condensation from forming on the Teflon tubes and the stator bars.

Q

Describe Stator cooling water flow path.

A
Tank.
One of two pumps.
One of two heat exchangers.
One of two filters.
One of two strainers.
To the stator.
10% of the return flow goes to the deionizers which has a strainers on the outlet.
