What is the fundamental objective of the Emergency Plan?
Protecting the health and safety of the general public, people temporarily visiting or assigned to the reactor facility, and the employees of the plant.

Who is the initial Site Emergency Director?
Shift Manager.
How long do you have to notify Michigan State Police after the declaration of an emergency?
15min.
How long do you have to notify Berrien county after the declaration of an emergency?
15min.
What duties may a AEO be assigned to during a plant emergency?
Control room offsite communicator.
Contingency team member.
A minimum of one AEO must remain for AEO duties in the unaffected unit.
OSC team member.
Where do you get the information you read to MSP and BCSD?
EMD-32 form approved by the SED/Shift Manager.
How long do you have to Notify the NRC after the declaration of an emergency?
One Hour. Should be a Licensed person for initial communication.
What types of tasks would the Contingency team members do?
Rescue and re-entry.
Valve lineups.
Assist with plant evolutions.
Who are the members of the contingency team?
AEO.
Tech Spec RP tech.
Chemistry Tech.
Where do the the contingency team members report?
Initially to the control room then will move to OSC when operable.
Where do you get the information you need to give to the NRC?
EPP-100 Attachment 11
Which unit initiates the notification of offsite authorities?
The unaffected unit.
Who approves all communications regarding Site Boundary dose rates and PARs prior to transmittal?
SED/Shift manager
Why do we now have EPP-100 attachment 11 for the NRC?
Because the NRC has committed to congress that they will make the decision wether or not to activate there facilities within 30min of notification.
