what does braille do?
system of writing and printing for blind people or visually impaired people in which raised dots are used to represent the letters of the alphabet, numbers and punctuation marks
what is a disabling environment?
a social context in which adaptions and other necessary facilities are not in place to ensure that people with impairments can take full part in social life
what is menopause?
a stage in life, usually between 45-55 when a women’s menstrual cycle gradually stops and she is no longer able to be pregnant naturally

reduced intellectual ability and difficulty with everyday activities which affects someone for their whole life

increased the number of people with learning disabilities cared for in the community rather than institutions
