Infant, Youth, Adult and Elder

Individual stories of each member of the group; specifically, past life and events before they were in the group.

Remember how the rest of the characters like Rose and Miigwans; not just Frenchie; dealt with previous and current hardships of their own and ones faced by the group in general.
Defenders
Defend and maintain peace of community and lifestyle according to teachings and values; Cultural and spiritual significance; “Warrior” translates to “Defender of the Nation”
Teachers and Learners (both seperate)
Everyone within a community is involved in educating and teaching children; Experiental learning helps kids to learn how to do things they will need as adults; Storytelling shares knowledge, wisdom, values.
Leaders
Many different types, which include informal roles; Elders and Wisdom Keepers lead by example.
