What is arterial bleeding?
Bright red blood (oxygenated), spurting from a wound
What does Good Samaritan Law do?
Minimize the fear of possible legal consequences
When do you use the A-B-C’s?
To find immediate life threatening problems
Traumatic Shock treatment
Lie the victim down, elevate the legs, and cover lightly
Before approaching an emergency scene, why should you check the scene before anything?
Safety; to see if it’s safe enough
