What is GDP
The total value of good and services produced within a country during one year.
Explain how the HDI measures the health of the population
HDI measures life expectancy which is the average amount of years a person in that country that a person is expected to live.
Explain one way in which topography affects economic development
Topography makes growing crops difficult as farm vehicles find it difficult to operate reducing peoples income.
Or
Steep slopes are not attractive locations for industry or infrastructure reducing employment and income generation opportunities.

India
Maharashtra and Bihar are different, Mumbai is I Maharashtra so has more migrating to the city from rural regions

Shanghai has a larger population density than Gansu Shanghai coastal location has seen it grow as an important Piet attracting workers.
