What does Amendment 1 ( I ) do?
Congress shall make no law on establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise; or abridging the freedom of speech or press.

What does Amendment 2 ( II ) do?
A well regulated militia (non-professional soldiers) being necessary for the security of a free state, the right to bear arms shall not be infringed.
What does Amendment 3 ( III ) do?
No soldier shall stay at anyones house without the consent of owner nor in time of war, but in manner to be proscribed by law.
What does Amendment ( IV ) do?
Protection of citizens privacy of themselves, houses, papers, and effects. Protects against unreasonable search and seizure.
What does Amendment 5 ( V ) do?
Double jeopardy- can’t be charged for the same crime twice

What does Amendment 6 ( VI ) do?
In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial by an impartial jury from the same state and district the crime was committed in.
What does Amendment 8 ( Vlll ) do?
Excessive bail is not required, nor excessive fines imposed, and unusual punishments inflicted.
What does Amendment 9 ( IX ) do?
The enumeration in the constitution, of certain rights, shall not be constructed to deny or disparage others retained by the people (Implied rights)
