What are the four factors of production?
Land: anything the earth produces
Labor: work that humans do
Capital: what people use to do work
Entrepreneurship: the right combo
What’s a unitary government?
One set of rules for whole country. Dictatorships, small countries
What’s a federalist government?
Denominations of power, with specifications on rules at each level for different regions
What is a direct democracy?
Each individual person votes on everything.
What is an indirect democracy?
People vote on representatives who will decide issues. Only as good as the people you elect!
Capitalism
do anything possible to make money, regardless of environment, health, etc
Socialism
the government makes rules and regulations. a spectrum
Communism
there is no private ownership at all, the government fully controls everything

What is salutary neglect?
The way Britain ruled the colonies before King George. Gave them lots of freedoms, as long as they traded with Britain
What was the Connecticut Compromise or the Great Compromise?
Where we decided to have both a House and a Senate, because populus states wanted representation based on population while small states wanted equal representation. We gave them both!
What was the 3/5 compromise?
Counted each slave as 3/5 of a person… yikes
