Q

What is the control group and what is the importance of it

A

It is the group that is kept the same and is not changed at all. It’s purpose it to be something that it reliable to give true comparisons of.

Q

What does overlapping error bars used for - give example

A

They are there to represent that the data is not really that far apart and if they aren’t overlapping there is a decent difference in the data. The error bars could overlap when the bars aren’t close due to an utliar but the data sets are precise with each other.

Q

Create a hypothesis about how a sunflower will grow with sunlight

A

The growth of a sunflower depends on the amount of sunlight it is given. If the sunflower is given at least 12 hours of moderate sunlight per day, then it’s growth will increase because plants need sunlight to increase in size.
