Divine Right Theory?

States form when an individual or group uses force to make enough people submit to central authority
What are the functions of government?

Government can take private property for public use

One person has absolute power over a nation

A ruler also has to go with a constitution

The people make the decisions directly

THe people vote for representatives for government

People have freedom to act and think as they choose

Govt and tis officials are limited on their power

Wanted more states governemnt than national
The Congress could not tax federally, only state tax and it made it hard to build a militia and to raise federal funds
