Provide laws that are fair and reasonable (just) and administration of these laws must be fair and resonable (just)

Defend the country against foreign enemies

Allow states and citizens to benefit military and economically from protection of a strong national govt

Cncel or revoke it by a legislative act

Constitution should not be changed on whim, but should change when society changed because change is ineitable and should not bind later generations
What was Madison’s view on constitution?
Laws and constitution should not be changed because they grow in authority as time goes on

Amendments can be proposed by congress or national convention and amendments can be ratified by legislator or convension
What is the process of ratifying an amendment?
Once an amendment has been proposed, Congress sends it to the 50 staes for ratification
Proposed amendment can be voted on by stae legislators or citizens can elect delegates to convensions
