A peninsula consisting of the countries Portugal and Spain.

Mountain chain that separates Europe and Asia.
English Channel
A water passageway south of the United Kingdom and north of France.
European plain
Most fertile land in Europe. Great for agriculture, growing crops, and raising cattle.
Mediterranean Sea
Serves as the southern border of Europe and the northern border of Africa.
Gulf Stream
Warm ocean current that flows from the Gulf of Mexico through the Atlantic Ocean passing Great Britain. Keeps Western Europe countries warmer than other countries that share similar latitudes.
Natural resources
Items that come from the earth that can be used to make products which can be sold for money.
Culture
The way a group, or individual , lives.
Monotheism
The belief in only one god.
Judaism
The oldest of the three monotheistic religions. Founded by Abraham. Their holy is called the Torah . The followers worship in a synagogue. The followers are called Jews.
Christianity
The middle of the three monotheistic religions. Founded by Jesus Christ. Their holy book is called the bible. The followers worship in a church.
Islam
The youngest of the three monotheistic religions. Founded by Muhammad. Their holy book is called the Quran. The followers worship in a mosque. The followers are called Muslims.
European languages
Consist of 3 categories: germanic Lang, romance lang, Slavic Lang
Romance language
Languages derived from Latin. Main languages are French and Italian.
