The topographic maps contain information abou the physical enviroment and the human elements
What are thematic maps?
The thematic maps provide information on specific aspects and their distribution over the territory
What are cylindrical projections?
The cylindrical projection is obtain by projecting the surface of the globe onto a cilinder. It best represents the areas between the tropics.
What are conical projections?
The conical projection is obtain by projecting the surface of the globe onto a cone. It best represents the areas between the tropics and the polar zones.
What are azumithal projections?
The azumithal projection is obtain by projecting the surface of the sphere onto a plane at right angle to one of the poles. It best represents the poles.
What is the atmosphere?
The atmosphere is a gaseous layer that protects us from radiation.
What is the biosphere?
The biosphere is the layer of the Earth where life exists.
What is the hydrosphere?
The hydrosphere is made up of all the water on Earth.
What is the geosphere?
The geosphere is the solid layer of the Earth
What is the lithosphere?
The lithosphere is the rigid layer of the Earth, consisting of the crust and the upper mantle.
