General montcalm most of the French troops stationed at Beauport; when he got word that the British were outside Quebec’s walls, he had to march his soldiers back into town. They arrived exhusted

dead and France lost Quebec.

Oral Traditions vs. Land-Bridge Theory
Oral tradition will have more meaning, expression, passion and better understanding of a topic when spoken; however once a person dies with that knowlede it is gone forever, and that one person can only share it no else would know.
The Land Bridge Theory is a hypothesis that early humans and animals migrated from Asia to the Americas across a land bridge that connected Siberia and Alaska during the Ice Age.
