opposite of absolutism, denies that theres one single universal standard (whatever you think is right fro you)

judgement of reason (our awareness that theres right and wrong)

responsibility is diffuesed amoung large crowd, no one feels responsible to act

internal freedom; freedom to act
Freedom
external freedom; freedom of choice. the capacity to choose and to
act. I am free because I have possibilities and capacities to act on these possibilities.
