1) Primary
The first point of contact in the healthcare system.
Example: Doctor or 911 Operator
2) Secondary
An intermediate type of healthcare that diagnosis and treats within a hospital using specialized equipment.
Example: Orthodontist
3) Tertiary
A specialized type of healthcare that takes place in large research facilities and teaching hospitals.
Example: Life support (Last case scenario)

The ratio of fat to muscle.
How do you calculate “BMI”?
Weight/ Height X Height
For each BMI range, how would each persons weight be described?
10-20= Underweight 20-30= Normal 30-40= Overweight 40-50= Morbid Obese

The plan has to over all medically necessary services

The plan has to be offered to you no matter who you are or where you live

The plan must allow people to have access to a hospital without finical barriers
5) Portable
You must be able to be covered when visiting other parts of Canada
