What is the definition of crime?
An action which is classified as an offence and is punishable by the law
What is the definition of deviance?
An action that differs from the societal norms. This will vary from place and culture
What is the definition for WWC?
A non-violent crime, usually committed for financial gain
What are the three main types of WCC?
Organised, corporate, professional
Examples of WCC:
Embezzlement, fraud, fiddling expenses, bribery
Typical offender of WCC:
Often people who work in commercial environments of a high social status
Typical victim of WCC:
Vulnerable people, usually the elderly who have investment funds
Level of Public Awareness for WCC:
Low - easily hidden and violent crimes go noticed more

What is the definition for moral crime?
Crimes which conflict with the standard morals of society
What are the 4 main examples of moral crime?
Vagrancy, prostitution, assisted suicide, drug use
Typical offender of moral crime?
Victim and offender typically the same person (victimless crime)
However victim/offender is often in a difficult place financially
Level of public awareness for moral crime:
Low - often hidden from close friends and family

Genocide, war crime, torture, imprisonment without trial
