How is water leaving the body all the time?
Water is leaving the body all the time as we breathe out and sweat.
How is excess water lost?
We lose any excess water in our urine produced by the kidneys.
How do we lose ions?
We also lose ions in our sweat and in our urine.
Why must we keep our temperature constant?
We must keep our temperature constant, otherwise enzymes in our body will not work properly.
What is the energy source for our cells?
Sugar in the blood is the energy source for our cells.
What is the level of sugar in our blood controlled by?
The level of sugar in our blood is controlled by the pancreas.
