Inter-faith dialogue
The activity of Christians striving to find points of
commonality based on fundamental truths recognized by the other religions in the world. For example, all religions believe that there is more to life than life and death itself.

Objective reality

Subjective reality is the inner world of the mind. The world of emotions and feelings.

An individual’s past experiences and knowledge informs how they interpret situations today
Communal world view
A group or person in a group interprets reality from a unique perspective. (Family, culture, religion, class)
Ecumenical
The activity of Christians striving to find points of commonality between them and Christians of other denominations based on their shared belief in Jesus Christ.

Why is it important to study world religions?
To understand our differences and similarities so that we can co-exist together
