What is meant when a crime is said to be a ‘hidden crime’?

A

Because they tend to go under-reported by the victims and the media doesn’t report them to the wider public.

A

These are crimes perpetrated against one person. These can include assault, battery, homicide, fraud, hate crime etc.

A

A criminal motivated by racial, sexual or other prejudice typically involving violence.
Incident may involve physical assault, damage to property, bullying, harassment, hate mail.

A
