Social Inquiry steps/Scientific Method
- Ask Question: Central research question
- Focus: take notes about what’s known & research what’s previously learnt. Identify sources.
- Formulate a hypothesis.
- Collect data: through surveys, experiments, etc
- Assemble & analyze data: organize in chart, graphs, etc
- Stop & check: enough info to support hypothesis or back to step 4
- Present results: draw conclusions, share findings in presentation.
- Reflect & evaluate research & results.
