Contrast is injected into the lymphatic system.

It was used to treat chylothorax, as there was lymph leaking from the lymphatic system so it was embolisatized to stop the leaking.

Risk without treatment. Lymphedema, respiratory distress then death.

With the case could lead to plural effusion and then death.

Using CO2 as contrast.

It is used as contrast if eGFR is low because normal contrast risk could harm the patient.
