What central measure of tendency is best to use mean median or mode
A
Mean - most sensitive taking in for account all scores into consideration
Disadvantage- the mean can be distorted by extreme scores
Median - Median is unaffected by extreme scores
Disadvantage unlike mean this only takes into account one or two scores
Mode - similar to median the mode is unaffected by extreme scores
- can be affected dramatically by change in one score making it unpresentative
