What does a positive Speed’s Sign indicate?
Advanced tendonitis of LHBT if pain with resistance
pain on palpation of tendon may indicate early stages of inflammation
What does a positive O’Brien’s indicate?
Top of shoulder pain - AC joint lesion
Deep shoulder pain at attachment of the bicipital tendon to the sup labrum = SLAP lesion
What does a positive Yergason’s test indicate?
Tear or laxity to t to transverse humeral ligament
Pain without snapping indicative of bicipital tendonitis
What does a positive AP shear test indicate?
Degenerative changes in the AC joint or damage to the AC and/or coracoclavicular ligament
What does a positive Neer’s Test indicate?
Impingement of the supraspinatus or LHBT between the greater tuberosity and the inferior side of the acromion and coracoacromial ligaments
What does a positive Hawkins and Kennedy test indicate?
Supraspinatus impingement between the greater tuberosity and inferior side of the acromion process
