Q

2 indications for glenohumeral BLT?

How do you perform BLT of the glenohumeral joint?

A

Subdeltoid bursitis or frozen shoulder

Pt LR with hurt shoulder up, doc behind. One hand stabilizes the shoulder, and the other controls the elbow. Flex the elbow and put the shoulder where it likes to go and hold just like BLT.

Q

How do we treat an elevated/adducted SC joint with stills?

A

Start with elbow slightly extended and adducted. Add compression toward the EC joint and Then abduct and superiorly glide the shoulder up with more of a posterior upward motion.

Q

How do we do HVLA to an elevated or adducted SC joint?

How do we do HVLA to an extended or anterior SC joint?

A

Inferior thrust of SC joint while at the same time applying rapid traction to the same side arm which is above the patients head

Same deal just posterior thrust at the SC joint

Q

How to do HVLA of an adducted and abducted ulna?

Q

How to perform ST of the interosseous membrane?

BLT of interosseous membrane?

A

Compress thumbs together or pull apart thumbs for traction

Hold wrist in one hand and elbow in the other. Indirect positioning of the elbow and wrist to BLT point in the membrane
