What is alignment?
Process of matching organizational needs/goals with IT architecture.
What is IS Governance?
Development of consistent, cohesive, management policies and verifiable internal processes for IT and related services. Main goal is to improve the benefits of an organization’s IT investment over time.
What is the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) or Budget Measures Act?
Bill/act that requires management to create internal controls sufficient to produce reliable financial statements and to protect the organization’s assets. Aim is to prevent corporate fraud.
What is an IS Audit?
People check out your IS resources that collect, store, process and retrieve information.
What is COBIT?
Control Objectives for Information and Related Technology is a framework of best practices designed for IT management?
