Single hung window
Opens vertically with the bottom panel all moving up and down and upper part remaining stationing
Means the upper sash is covered on the inside

Similar to single window, but lower shash and upper sash can move up and down
Usually tilted for easy, cleaning and main
Top hung window/awning
ideal rainy climate because the window creates a water resistant awning when opened
The swing is opened outside by being pushed out wall with the latch or handle making them waterproof

Does not open or close and often installed above standard ventilation
