are patterns of speaking characterized by distinctive pronunciation, vocabulary, intent, participants, and grammatical structures.
Speech Styles
is made up of the parts of communication that influence the meaning of a message. Context has an influence on the communication process. Contexts can overlap, creating an even more dynamic process.
Context
involves one person; it is often called “self-talk” (Wood, 1997)
INTRApersonal Communication
explains how, as you use language to reflect on your own experiences, you talk yourself through situations.

normally involves two people, and can range from intimate and very personal to formal and impersonal.
INTERpersonal Communication
dynamic process where a small number of people engage in a conversation. generally defined as involving three to eight people
Group Communication
one person speaks to a group of people; the same is true of public written communication, where one person writes a message to be read by a small or large group.
Public Communication
you send a message to as many people as possible. involves sending a single message to a group. It allows you to communicate your message to a large number of people.
Mass Communication
is the way that people use to communicate and transmit message orally or verbally
Speech Context
- where you can talk with the other people.
- where you can talk to yourself especially when thinking and making decisions.

is the process of communicating information to an audience. It is usually done before a large audience, like in school, the workplace and even in our personal lives.
Public Speaking
it helps you connect and create a relationship with the reader. It helps you communicate your point of view clearly making it easier to understand. It allows you and others to be more creative.
Context
means the interrelationship between the two, but in practice ,this relationship refer to dialogic relations or face-to-face verbal communication between two persons involving their mutual ideas, thoughts, behavior , ideals, liking and disliking, and all the queries and answers concerning life
Dyadic Communication
