When is sedimentary rock made?
When layers of sediment get deposited on the sea bed

When magma cools and solidifies
When is metamorphic rock made?
When existing rocks get put under extreme pressure
What is physical weathering?
It is caused by the effects of changing temperature on rocks, causing the rock to break apart. The process is sometimes assisted by water
What is chemical weathering?
It is caused by rain water reacting with the mineral grains in rocks to form new minerals and soluble salts. These reactions occur particularly when the water is slightly acidic
What is biological weathering?
It is caused by nature
What are the types of physical weathering?
Freeze thaw and Exfoliation
