It is a heat resistance polymer and used for tableware electrical installations synthetic resin paints decorative laminates and work tops
What is polyester resin and its uses
Polymerises at room temperature a resin hardener mixed together often reinforced with glass fibres and is used for laminated to form castings for cars bodies and boats

Soft and spongy good heat insulating properties good at absorbing shock and is used for packaging , sound and heat insulation, ceiling tiles.
What is nylon and its use
A hard material good resistance to wear and tear solid nylon has low friction qualities and a high melting point and is used for curtain rails fittings, combs, hinges
What is PVC and its use
Rigid stiff hard wearing and can be added to create a softer rubbery me atrial and is used for air and water pipes chemical tanks and shoe soles.
What is acrylic and its use
Glass like transparency or opaque can be coloured with pigments hard wearing will not shatter and it is used for display signs bath roof lights and machine guards
